What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Advanced Veterinary Hospital?
We invite you to consider joining our friendly staff in providing high quality medical care in our 2 Doctor state of the art facility. We are a DVM locally owned independent private practice. We have no affiliation with corporate consolidators/owners. Our focus is on providing compassionate medical care for dogs and cats, while developing strong, long term relationships with our employees and our clients and their pets.
Our teaching Doctors encourage Technicians at our hospital by helping them to learn new procedures and techniques. FULL TIME with 4 day work week and PART TIME also available. We are closed on weekends and major holidays. EXPERIENCE REWARDED.
We encourage techs who are committed to providing an extremely kind, caring attitude towards all pets and their owners and your fellow workers. Responsibilities will include providing assistance with vaccinations, client education, lab samples and tests, IV catheter placements, surgery and recovery, nursing care, dental prophys, digital radiology and accurate computerized record keeping.
Our clients entrust us with the care of their beloved pets, so you must pass background check. We are a tobacco and drug free workplace and property, there will be testing.
