The company designs, engineers, and manufactures industry-leading full volumetric modular units for Upper-Midwest clients in a brand new 180,000 SF state-of-the-art facility in Albertville, MN located just North of the Albertville Outlet Mall.
Job: Crew Member – Plumbing
Crew Members will be responsible for but not limited to: training other Crew members on critical production steps along with Inspecting work progress, equipment, or construction documents to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met. Including reading specifications, such as Revit drawings, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures to completion. Work with, assist, and take direction from the master plumber from the general contractor or sister organization to meet project requirements. Willingness to work with other trades and perform work in other construction disciplines as necessary to meet project timelines.
Responsibilities:
Coach, coordinate, and lead crew in work process related to all aspects of plumbing and activities in a production environment.
Assign work to employees, based on material or worker abilities of specific tasks.
Coordinate work activities with other production construction crew members and crew leads.
Evaluate projects to determine compliance with plumbing technical specifications and code (commercial, residential) requirements.
Inspect equipment or tools to be used in construction, monitor, and ensure proper safety protocols are in place and being followed.
Provide plant manager with regular updates regarding crew member attendance, performance, and crew production construction KPI’s.
Assist in crew member recruitment and interview process by engaging with candidates on the production floor.
Support new crew member onboarding, on job training, by ensuring all production construction methods are demonstrated successfully.
An understanding of prioritizing and assigning job duties of other crew member working with plumbing

Requirements:
Crew Members should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Positive outlook and approaches problems, obstacles in solutions orientate manor.
- Associates in plumbing, or field experience in the plumbing trade and 5 years of experience OR 7 years of practical work experience.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of performing skilled plumbing work
- Ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of plumbing applications
- Commercial & Residential plumbing experience
Preferred Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working as a lead, mentor, or supervisor
- Certified in Lean or 6S in a manufacturing environment.
- An understanding/experience of modular construction.
