Mosquito/Tick Control Technician (Seasonal)

Join our team! We are a local, family-owned pest control company currently seeking mosquito/tick control technicians to become part of our team for the upcoming 2023 season (April - September). We have some flexibility on the starting and ending dates.

Advanced Wildlife and Pest Control is a local, family-owned animal removal and pest control company headquartered in Slinger, Wisconsin. For over 30 years, we’ve been providing industry-leading residential and commercial pest solutions to residents throughout the Milwaukee area and southeastern Wisconsin. What We Do:

We provide pest control services to residential and commercial customers, repelling and killing mosquitoes, ticks, and other outdoor pests. Our technicians apply spray solutions on our clients’ properties that keep their yards pest free.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely handle, mix, and apply pesticides according to company policy and label instructions
• Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures
• Document services performed according to company policy
• Drive a company vehicle to customers’ locations
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition
• Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting any problems
• Build and maintain relationships with teammates and customers
• Call and communicate well to customers with updates
• Respond quickly to customer and office requests
• Complete certification requirements
• Complete daily assigned service route
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass the state certification exam to apply pesticides (Aquatic & Mosquito 5.0)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and complete outdoor physical work
• Ability to work with stinging and/or biting pests
• Ability to pass a background, motor vehicle, and drug screen check
• Ability to show up to work on time and ready to work every day that you are scheduled

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (some weekend work) Hours you can expect to work between 30-40 hours per week
