Job Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for building and grounds maintenance, facility housekeeping, continuous improvement initiatives, & vendor relations.
- Regular building maintenance and repairs
- Supervise & develop building and grounds employees
- Identify & realize cost improvement opportunities
- Vendors relationships to maximize value & mitigate risk to the company
- Remodeling/ expansion projects of the building.
- Maintain the aesthetics and cleanliness of the facility (interior and exterior)
- Manage and direct the cleaning activities
- Maintain a safe environment for building occupants and visitors
- Conduct regular building inspections and prepare reports
- Ensure facility complies with applicable policies, regulations, building codes and expectations
- Hire and discipline all department employees
- Develop employees through performance management system and career path or development plans
- Resolve personnel issues and/or conflicts
- Open and close building as required
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelors Degree preferred or demonstrated equivalent of 5 years work experience
- 3 years of Facilities leadership experience
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Effective communication, influencing skills and decision-making ability
- Trouble shooting experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience establishing programs and processes to improve equipment preventative maintenance programs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
