Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Design and develop fire alarm systems tailored to client specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections to detect potential fire hazards and assess the effectiveness of existing systems.
- Collaborate with clients to provide expert advice on fire alarm sales and system enhancements.
- Utilize CAD software for creating detailed schematics and layouts of fire alarm systems.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage fire alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding fire safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of system designs, installations, and service history.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using hand tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to fire alarm systems and components.
- Experience with electrical systems relevant to fire alarm technology.
- Familiarity with CAD software for system design purposes.
- Previous experience in fire alarm sales or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
