We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure the safety and functionality of fire protection systems.
Duties
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of existing fire sprinkler systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate installation projects effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine system layout and specifications.
- Utilize pipe threading, welding, soldering, and other techniques to assemble piping systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficient in pipe threading, welding (including stick welding), and soldering techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to fire protection systems and pipeline construction.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with calipers and other measuring tools for precise installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
