- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair security equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop schematics for system designs, ensuring all components work seamlessly together.
- Monitor and maintain computer networking systems related to security operations, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Provide training on the use of remote access software and other security tools to clients and staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of security systems, including alarms and access controls, to ensure functionality.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in the field of security.
Experience
Candidates should have a background that includes:
- Proficiency in mechanical knowledge related to security systems including fire alarm systems.
- Experience with computer networking principles as they apply to security technologies.
- Familiarity with locksmithing techniques for effective lock management.
- Competence in using power tools for installation and maintenance of security equipment.
- Ability to detect vulnerabilities within existing systems and propose actionable solutions.
- Experience in system design, particularly in creating comprehensive security plans that include various components such as alarms, cameras, and access controls.
- Knowledge of electrical systems as they relate to security installations is preferred.
