JOB DESCRIPTION:
Advanced Wound Therapy is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to serve as the face of our office. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a vital role in managing front desk operations, ensuring smooth appointment scheduling, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent follow-through, and the ability to handle disruptions with grace. You will also serve as the gatekeeper for office access, manage incoming calls, and assist with customer service inquiries to support our mission of delivering high-quality patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
· Answer and direct phone calls, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
· Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with staff and external partners.
· Manage office access, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the back offices.
· Handle unexpected situations and disruptions, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused approach.
· Maintain front desk organization, including handling mail, deliveries, and office supplies.
· Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
· Support internal teams with basic customer service inquiries and follow-ups.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role is preferred.
· Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to manage disruptions, problem-solve on the spot, and follow through on tasks.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and ability to learn new systems.
