Patient Account Rep / AR Follow-Up
Location: Goodlettsville, TN, 37072
Job Description:
We are seeking a Patient Account Representative with experience in Accounts Receivable Follow-Up to join our team in Goodlettsville, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient accounts, processing payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains AR queues
- Review and analyze patient accounts for accuracy
- Follow up on outstanding denials
- Timely submission of document requests from payers
- Escalate exhausted appeal efforts, denials, and/or overpayment trends as needed to Billing Manager
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Patient Account Representative
- Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems (eClinical Works preferred)
