Our EDI Enrollment Specialist is responsible for obtaining successful and timely approvals of EDI enrollments by ensuring accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and guiding clients through the process. This role requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and strong communication skills to manage enrollments efficiently and support a seamless experience for clients.
Essential Job Duties
- Review EDI enrollment forms for accuracy before submission to prevent denials and delays
- Work directly with internal partners, clients, and clearinghouses to obtain correct information, answer questions and resolve issues
- Follow up with clients to collect missing information and ensure timely processing of enrollments
- Monitor enrollments, track approvals, and escalate delays or invalid denials when necessary
- Clearly communicate EDI enrollment policies, procedures, and next steps to clients
- Maintain professionalism and composure when while communicating with clients, internal partners and clearinghouses
- Manage a high-volume workload while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all enrollments
- Provide clear, professional responses via chat, ensuring timely and accurate assistance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in enrollment submissions
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and prevent denials
- Professional verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams
- Patience and adaptability to guide clients through the enrollments process
- Ability to handle escalations and manage frustrated clients skillfully
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple enrollments simultaneously
- Preferred: 1 year’s knowledge of medical billing, EDI enrollments, or healthcare software
- High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an office, medical, customer service, IT, or support desk role
- Tech savvy, you love learning and mastering new systems, specifically Excel

- Hybrid office arrangement to start in the South Jordan, Utah office location, with option to work remotely available following the initial weeks of onboarding to company and accounting function.
- Visits onsite to the South Jordan, UT officer, thereafter, would be infrequent and very minimal.
