What are the responsibilities and job description for the AOI Operator | 2nd Shift position at AdvancedPCB?
Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Automatic Optical Inspector (AOI) Operator
Scope:
An automatic optical inspection (AOl) Operator will scan cores and panels on automatic optical inspection. In addition, they will verify defects and determine the disposition of the work and perform the rework in accordance with AOI inspection and rework instructions.
Essential Job Function:
- Operate AOI and Rework department equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance as defined by department maintenance schedule.
- Select data from database per work instructions
- Scan and verify cores and panels using acceptability criteria found in the AOl inspection and rework instructions.
- Perform manual Rework as required by instructions
- Verify Acceptability of Rework after completion.
- Support other work areas or departments as required by production or management.
Essential Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and operating equipment
- Fine motor skills
- Ability to use microscopes for long periods of time
- Ability to carry 30 lbs or more

This position requires access to controlled technical data and/or participation in activities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
