What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wet Process Operator (Sander) | 2nd Shift position at AdvancedPCB?
Description
Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Essential Job Functions
- Perform job related tasks as instructed by supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Read and understand applicable Process Procedures and safety rules.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
- Wet sand by hand using grit sand paper.
- Set up and operate Jitterbug and Mass Semi-automatic with minimal supervision.
- Use measuring devices such as eye loops and microscopes.
- Visually inspect panel’s quality and make required adjustments.
- Discontinue processing when a non-conforming condition is found and report it to management.
- Perform all tasks and routine maintenance as required by Process Procedure.
- Accurately complete all departmental quality and lot tracking documentation.
- Assist other operators, when time allows.

Essential Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Excellent work ethics, detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Be a team player and work well with others.
- Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as required by work area.
- Able to safely work with chemicals.
- Able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required, in support of departmental and company goals.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and willing to cross-train in other areas.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to consistently lift 25 pounds.
- Able to repeatedly walk approximately 20 feet to load/ unload etcher.
- Able to walk-in uneven flooring.
- Able to work with chemicals.
