Job Summary
We seek a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders. This role requires a commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals through effective behavioral therapy and data-driven interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Manage and Oversee Advancing Communities Everywhere Applied Behavior Analysis program start-up.
- Implement and monitor behavioral therapy programs, ensuring adherence to best practices in the field.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to support clients' needs effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and family members regarding behavior management techniques.

- Clinical Audit (DMAS and Insurance MCO Audits) Oversight and Leadership
- Manage all referrals, manage a referral book/tracker and report on referrals admitted, not admitted, pending, and or denied.
- Ensure the program assigned meets its referral targets monthly
- Stay current with developments in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Conduct quality assurance with clients in programs to ensure needs on ISP are being meet, reporting any needs outside of services to your team.
- Complete weekly utilization reports for each client and staff in the program and track utilization percentages.
- Ensure the program assigned meets its 85% utilization expectation weekly.
- Maintain a caseload up to 2 clients until the agency has reached its desired goal as needed
- Provide program productivity updates weekly to COO and CEO.
- Manage mid-week and end-of-week hourly check-ins with staff and troubleshoot challenges with staff/clinician and or client to meet utilization goals weekly.
- Participate in all leadership meetings and training.
- Responsible for building relationships weekly in areas that are underserved or in places that need to hear about the services we provide.
- Fill-in as needed.
- Assist program team with other duties as assigned by the COO.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Virginia Licensure
- Minimum of a Master's degree in social service, clinical psychology, counseling, public health administration, or related field
- Minimum of three (4) years of work experience in mental health services
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices related to behavioral health.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

- 50% due to travel from location to location.
