We are seeking a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Aurora, CO. In this role, you will manage our shipping processes, ensuring products are delivered to our customers effectively and timely while maintaining our commitment to excellence and quality. Our warehouse is located at 2255 N. Pagosa Street. Suite 100 in Aurora, Colorado 80011. This role requires the candidate to work side by side with warehouse team in the pulling, packing, and loading of orders.

- Oversee all shipping and logistics operations, coordinating and scheduling shipments for both domestic and international orders
- Maintain a clean and efficient shipping area, adhering to safety and quality standards.Maintains a "safety first" mentality in accordance with company safety standards
- Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from railroad cars, trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing officer per company policy
- Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments
- Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including goods
- Returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets
- Maintains database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required
- Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions
- Prepares bills of lading and dray tickets for shipments
- Completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage
- Transports materials on a shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle as needed
- Loads trucks using a forklift
- Pulls and Packs orders according to order picking sheet
- Banding and wrapping finished orders in boxes and on pallets
- Collaborates with manufacturing and purchasing departments
- Prepares all documentation needed for shipping including bills of lading, packing lists, dock
- Receipts, certificates of origin, and invoice
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in shipping and logistics, preferably in a warehouse or supply chain environment
- Ability to work side by side, daily, with warehouse team to fulfill orders
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations and procedures
- Experience with inventory management software and shipping systems
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Physically able to lift and move heavy items; must be able to stand for extended periods
