Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to clients with various needs, including those with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance behavioral health outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior changes in clients.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices in the field.
- Document client progress accurately in medical records while complying with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for clients.
- Train and support staff in implementing behavior intervention plans effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making necessary adjustments based on client progress.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in behavioral health and best practices for working with individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience in patient assessment and applied behavior analysis is essential.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and their application in various settings.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
- Strong skills in medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and their families.
