Job Summary
We are looking for a Machine Operator/Setup technician that can operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality output. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
Duties
Experience setting up and programming Trumpf Machines a plus.
Follow both written and verbal work instructions use approved gages and tools to inspect parts to determine required material removal.
Set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as punch machine, brake machine, shapers, planers and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
Perform finishing operations when required, such as deburring, tapping, honing and bench work.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; determines sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup.
Fit and assemble precision parts into mechanical equipment or a and determine material, parts and equipment required.
Maintain safe and clean workspace.
Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using tools such as calipers for precise measurements.
- Experience setting up and programming Trumpf Machines a plus.
- Perform finishing operations when required, such as deburring, tapping, honing and bench work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is an advantage.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent attention to detail.

Pay: $17.54 - $25.00 per hour
