Advantage's Partner Services (ACPS) business line provides advisory services to third parties, largely in the area of New Markets Tax Credit finance, helping businesses, CDEs and investors accomplish their financial and programmatic goals. In addition to assisting with application preparation, revolving loan fund management and CDE operational support, ACPS helps QALICBs access NMTC financing from outside CDEs, through education, structuring, negotiation and closing. To date, ACPS Project consultants have collectively closed over $750 million in NMTC transactions in their careers.
Job Description
ACPS's new NMTC Project Finance Consultant will join this practice within the firm, supported by a robust QALICB sourcing operation, deep CDE and investor relationships, internal and external transactional support, and Advantage's substantial financial backing. The position will include a competitive comp package consisting of base pay and generous success-based compensation, offering significant upside to the entrepreneurial candidate. This is a remote role.
Qualified candidates will be well-versed in the technical aspects of NMTC transactions and have a history of leading successful NMTC closings. Ability to explain complex concepts and build trusted relationships is critical to this role. Our QALICB Consultants are often in dialog with QALICB CEOs and CFOs, with senior industry attorneys and accountants, and with CDE and Investor decisionmakers. Strong communication and transparency are highly desired. A preference will be given for candidates with deep connections in Texas or West Coast NMTC markets. This position will not require relocation, but some travel is expected. The successful candidate will have an interest in working with and leveraging the larger Advantage team to increase overall capacity.
