About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our interdisciplinary medical and behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to provide quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals experiencing symptoms of a behavioral health disorder.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records, including assessment, progress notes, outcome measures, and billing entries.
- Confer with professional staff and other agencies/providers regarding care and treatment for patients receiving psychiatric services.
- Participate in monthly interdisciplinary team meetings and medical meetings.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited college or university.
- 24 Continued Medical Education (CME) credits per credentialing cycle (2 years).
- Healthcare Provider CPR/AED Certification.
- Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Care organizations is preferred.
- Ability to support the Medical Director in providing excellent quality of care to patients.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Child/adolescent or geriatric experience is a plus.
Working Conditions
