Network Tools Systems Engineer, Lev 2 (AE25021426SE2)

AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking a Network Tools Systems Engineer , Level 2, to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Tools Systems Engineer will manage and ensure the functionality of COTS products in a secure environment, maintaining system health, performance, and security with a focus on event management, monitoring, and system / application health.

The role includes assisting with testing and deploying hotfixes, patches, and new releases, as well as developing knowledge articles, documentation, and work instructions for the Tools Team and users.

Location : Annapolis Junction, Maryland

All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Clearance : Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance with Polygraph .

Mission : A Network Tools Systems Engineer on this government program, you will be providing support for this important government agency.

Requirements :

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS / SCI with polygraph
• A Bachelor's Degree and Fourteen (14) years of relevant experience.
• Must possess a solid understanding of event management, system / application health server operating system, agent and agentless monitoring, network, application and end-point performance, tuning and measurements.
• The candidate will ensure the COTS products function properly in a secure environment with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL / TLS communications.
• Assist with testing and deploying hotfixes / patches / new releases of the tool's suite.
• Assist with development of knowledge articles, documentation, and work instructions used by the Tools Team and tools users.

Education and Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree with a technical focus is required and Fourteen (14) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD program management or relevant experience.
• High-School Diploma or GED and Nineteen (19) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD program management or relevant experience.

Travel

• Less than 10% of travel may occur.
