AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking a Systems Engineer Level 4 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of systems engineering principles , ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and personnel components into a cohesive system.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams , including engineers, program managers, and technical experts, to manage system requirements and develop comprehensive systems engineering documentation.
Mission : As a Systems Engineer on this government program, you will be providing support for this important government agency.
Location : Annapolis Junction, Maryland
All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Clearance : Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance with Polygraph .
Certifications :Requirements :
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS / SCI with polygraph
- PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 8 years of systems engineering experience.
- Strong background in DoDAF strategic planning and technical research .
- Experience managing system requirements and architecture development .
- Knowledge of configuration management, risk management, and systems integration .
- Ability to develop technical documentation and requirements specifications .
- Familiarity with Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and systems engineering lifecycle processes .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a tech-savvy mindset .
- Experience with DoD programs, acquisition lifecycle, and technical frameworks .
- Proficiency in systems modeling tools and enterprise architecture frameworks .
- Certifications in systems engineering, project management, or related fields .
- Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
- Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus Eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
- PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 8 years of systems engineering experience.
- High School Diploma or GED plus Fourteen (14) years of systems engineering experience.
- Less than 10% of travel may occur.
- 401K with employer contribution. Fully vested at 1 year anniversary.
- Five (5) weeks comprehensive annual leave (25 workdays).
