Help Wanted: Nurse Educator – Home Care (Brooklyn, NY)
Immediate Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to join our Nursing team and lead the instruction and in-servicing of Registered Nurses providing home care visits.
Position Overview:
The Nurse Educator will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training to RNs on home care practices, conducting hands-on instruction, and mentoring nurses throughout the onboarding and skills development process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both clinical and community-based nursing and will play a key role in shaping high-quality, compliant care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license (Required)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a home care setting
- At least 2 years prior experience in a medical-surgical hospital unit
- Must have a working and in depth knowledge of the HHAeXCHANGE software platform.
- Familiar with New York State DOH home care regulations
