What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appointment Scheduling Specialist position at Advantage Irrigation?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Respond to customer calls, messages, and emails; schedule appointments via phone, email or text, maintaining a high level of customer service
-Manage and retrieve messages from answering service; respond to customer inquiries and schedule appointments for Irrigation Technicians
-Answer general questions regarding pricing, function of appointments, etc.
-Keep accurate records
-Reschedule appointments as directed by customers, Technicians, or leadership
-File and help to organize office paperwork and processes to ensure efficient flow of business
-Maintain good working relationships with customers and technicians
-Audit appointment record with service sheets and billing; ensure any follow up appointments are scheduled as needed
-Follow up on outstanding invoices
-Other administrative tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Customer service experience
-Experience scheduling appointments
-Knowledge of Grand Rapids' townships and area dividing lines, a plus
-Winning attitude, flexibility, and ability to problem solve are necessary
-Written and verbal communication skills
-Organization skills helpful

This is a seasonal position where the majority of hours are needed/offered in the spring through late fall months (25-35 hours/week--possibly more a few weeks of fall when customers are closing their sprinkling systems). We go on hiatus from early December through mid March and start up again around April. Assistance will be needed in late February and early March for scheduling upcoming seasonal services.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
