What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Advantage Lumber, LLC?
Come Join Our Team! We are a well-established local lumber company seeking responsible, motivated, energetic and fun people go join us in our Grover, NC facility. Our business is growing and we need reliable people who want and are willing to learn and grow with us. We are located six miles off I-85 on Blacksburg Rd (198) between Grover and Shelby.
Candidates with experience in any of the following or related fields are preferred; carpentry, woodworking, cabinet making, manufacturing, millwork, CNC milling, or other hands-on wood milling positions.
Job details may include but are not limited to; machine operations, molder operator, forklift operator, pulling orders, packaging lumber bundles, along with some other general labor duties. Must be able to read a tape measure.
The position is for full time employment, normal job hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm with some Saturdays 8:00am – 12:00pm, plus some opportunities for overtime as it becomes available.
Full time benefits are available after 90 days which include paid vacations, sick time, holidays, as well as a health benefit package.
We do run back ground checks as well as administer drug screening.
