Description
Responsible for supervision and training of all employees engaged in warehouse and inventory activities to ensure compliance with production schedules and to enforce company policies, procedures and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.
Essential Job FunctionsDrive development and implementation of operational process to increase productivity and reduce costAccountable for warehouse operations; introduce and expand operational practice across the business to significantly improve productivity, quality, and profitabilityParticipate in the strategic planning process of operationsUpgrade systems and proceduresCreate and operate within budgetResponsible for outbound transportationResponsible for safety, training & guidelinesReview programsSupply system managementOther duties as assignedJob Specifications - includes Education, physical and mental demands, and working conditionsMinimum 3 years of demonstrated senior level operations or related leadership experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong interpersonal and relationship building skillsExcellent communication skills including strong presentation skills at all levels of the organizationCritical thinking and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to develop effective and efficient processes for operational challengesMust be a team builder, teacher, coach & motivatorBilingual in English and Spanish preferredWorking ConditionsThis job operates in a warehouse environment and could be exposed to various temperature changes.
