Overview
Advantage Merchandising is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Labeler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately labeling products to ensure compliance with industry standards and enhance product visibility. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Most common is to place new upc labels over existing bad label on products.
Duties
- Accurately apply labels to products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect labels for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to company guidelines before application.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure labeling equipment is clean and functional.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with labeling materials or processes to supervisors.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking label usage and reporting shortages as needed.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for applying labels accurately.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Basic problem-solving skills to identify and address labeling issues promptly.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
