Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patients’ medical histories
- Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Observe patients during treatment to monitor progress and identify side effects of medications
- Keep track of patients’ conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain detailed patient charts
- Assist patients in daily activities such as eating and bathing
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and basic wound care
- Provide emotional and psychological support as required
- Proficiency in recording medical histories and vital signs
- Strong observational skills for monitoring patient conditions
- Competence in administering medications and basic medical care tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills to offer emotional support
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- No prior experience in pediatric or private duty nursing required
