Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patients’ medical histories.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Monitor patients’ progress, identifying any side effects of medication.
- Maintain comprehensive patient charts, observing fluid intake and output.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including eating and bathing.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and perform basic medical care tasks.
- Offer emotional and psychological support as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent observational skills.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care.
- Proficient in fundamental medical procedures and tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
- No prior pediatric or private duty nursing experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Completion of an accredited LPN program is essential.
