Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patients’ medical histories.
- Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Monitor and assess patients under treatment to track progress and identify potential side effects of medications.
- Maintain patient charts by observing their conditions, including fluid intake and output.
- Assist patients with essential daily activities, such as eating and bathing.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections, clean and dress wounds, and support with basic medical care tasks.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients as needed.
- Strong observational skills for patient condition monitoring.
- Proficient in accurately recording medical histories.
- Compassionate approach with a patient-centered focus.
- Excellent communication skills for offering emotional support and guidance.
- Capability to assist patients with daily requirements and fundamental medical tasks.
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
