Advantage Point Group (APG) is seeking to add an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to our team in St. Paul, MN (near the 3M Center).

Schedule: Mon-Friday, full-time, days, time and a half after 40 hours (optional, not mandatory).

Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall electrical engineering aspects of projects, ensuring the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems align with project goals.
- Develop and review electrical engineering documents, specifications, and plans.
- Design and oversee the implementation of complex power distribution systems and lighting systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and coordinate projects efficiently, balancing delegation and hands-on work.
- Collaborate with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
- Communicate project status and technical information to stakeholders.
- Coordinate ARC Flash Studies and collaborate with external engineering subcontractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (advanced degrees preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering for commercial or industrial projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and dedication to meeting project deadlines.
- $40 to $60 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
