As an Accountant, you'll be responsible for processing bi-weekly or monthly payroll, ensuring the accuracy of employee hours, deductions, and tax withholdings. You'll prepare and post journal entries for payroll, assist with both accounts payable and receivable, and prepare financial reports. Additionally, you'll support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations, and provide general administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable, specifically with ADP payroll systems.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
