Advantage Resourcing is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to join a dynamic team in Woonsocket, RI. If you have excellent attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!
Pay : $16.73
Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am-4 : 30 pm
The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for the initial and re-credentialing of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians in a compliant and timely manner, ensuring that all credentials are up to date and meet accreditation standards.
Responsibilities :
- Process initial and re-credentialing applications for healthcare providers
- Monitor and maintain expired licensure and compliance reports
- Manage provider access in Epic for expired credentials
- Assist with malpractice insurance verification and compliance monitoring
- Update and maintain provider data in internal systems and databases
- Communicate provider status updates to leadership and internal teams
- Support payer enrollment and assist with audits when needed
- Demonstrated understanding of credentialing practices, compliance monitoring, and expirable management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare credentialing
- NAMSS Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification preferred
- High school diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
