Industrial Maintenance Technician

Staffmark is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bastrop, LA. This role focuses on the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of clamp trucks, rewinders, and sheeters within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, capable of working both independently and within a team to ensure equipment runs efficiently.

Pay: $20-25/hr. (Depending on experience.)

Day Shift Available

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on clamp trucks, rewinders, sheeters, and related equipment.
• Inspect equipment for issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic problems.
• Replace parts such as motors, bearings, belts, and gears.
• Maintain electrical circuits, controls, and wiring systems.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure optimal equipment efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with new equipment installation and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Experience maintaining and repairing clamp trucks, rewinders, sheeters, or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits, motors, and controllers.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.
