Do you have two years of experience in quality control within the mortgage or document custodian industry? Advantage Resourcing has partnered with a global financial institution that provides financial services to companies, governments, institutional investors, small and medium-sized businesses, and private individuals. We are seeking new talent in Santa Ana, CA, to join this passionate and collaborative team as their newest Mortgage Quality Control Specialist.
Pay : $26-$30 per hour (Based on experience)
Choose the 1st shift hours that work best for you!
7 AM - 4 PM, Monday-Friday
8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday
Mortgage Quality Control Specialist Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive audits of mortgage documents and custodial records.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies in loan files and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance quality control processes and practices.
- Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and present recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff on quality control standards and procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial, or Economics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control within the mortgage or document custodian industry.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
