Schedule: 8am - 5pm
Salary: $30,000 - $45,000/yr.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy in hours, deductions, and taxes.
- Maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and manage benefits and garnishments.
- Prepare and post journal entries for payroll and accounting transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and vendor communications.
- Reconcile bank accounts, payroll accounts, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial reports such as payroll summaries and expense reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including audits and compliance with payroll regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing, specifically with ADP, and AP/AR experience.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
