Do you have experience as a quality control manager or project manager in a Manufacturing environment? Are you a natural-born leader with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach? Advantage Resourcing is hiring an experienced Quality Control Project Manager in Ariton, AL, for a metal fabrication company. The candidate selected will manage and direct all work activities and resources for departments , in accordance with cost, quality, and schedule.
Pay : $16 per hour (Negotiable / Based on experience)
1st Shift Hours : 7 AM - 5 PM Monday-Thursday; 7 AM - 4 PM Friday; Opportunities for overtime on Saturday (Voluntary)
Requirements : Proven experience (2 years) as a quality control manager or project manager in Manufacturing, proficiency in MS Office, in-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards, ability to analyze blueprints / specifications, excellent math abilities, working knowledge of data analysis / statistical methods, ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Essential Functions :
- Supervise staff and manage day-to-day operations.
- Monitor production output and ensure products meet customer specifications and quality expectations.
- Improve operational efficiency and production scheduling.
- Manage inventory and order materials as needed.
- Develop and improve staff training programs.
- Oversee the preventative maintenance of all operating equipment.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials (with calipers, gauges, or micrometers).
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
- Constantly seeks ways to improve efficiency, quality, and cost control where applicable.
