Staffmark is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate in Elmwood, LA. Now is your chance to become a part of a rapidly expanding wholesaler. This role is responsible for verifying and keeping records of shipments, preparing orders, and maintaining warehouse organization.
Overview of daily job functions :
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assemble and prepare orders for shipment.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and record shortages.
- Correspond with shippers to resolve damages and shortages.
- Operate a forklift to unload trucks and store products in the warehouse.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-4 years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
- Forklift Experience
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and able to self-manage.
- Reliable attendance and transportation.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using a handheld scanner.
Schedule | Monday-Friday | 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm
Pay Rate | $18.50 per hour
