Hours : 5 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday | Pay rate : $25 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)
Shipping Coordinator essential tasks :
Supervise maintenance tasks, including scheduled and preventative work, to ensure smooth equipment operation. Oversee shipping and receiving processes, manage inventory, and safely operate a forklift for material handling. Support operational goals through task flexibility, effective communication, and collaboration with departments. Utilize computer software for logging maintenance tasks, updating records, and managing inventory. Be available for overtime as needed to support daily operations.
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of prior experience in a maintenance supervisory role.
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or as a maintenance coordinator.
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation (certification preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machinery and equipment.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations for data entry, record-keeping, and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills to work with team members across departments.
- Flexibility to perform tasks outside the maintenance scope, adapting to the needs of the shipping and receiving areas.
