Advantage Resourcing is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Greensburg, LA. Our client specializes in providing high-quality products and services in the steel fabrication industry. If you're ready to take the next step in your welding career, this opportunity is for you!
Shift Details:
- Pay: $18 - $26 per hour (Based on experience)
- Day and Night Shifts Available, Working 10-hour Shifts
- Temp-to-hire
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- At least one year of welding experience with flux core welding (FCAW)
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a welding test
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
- Strong math and communication skills
- Capable of frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing quality welds that meet specifications and approval from the Quality Control Inspector and Production Manager. Duties include confirming temporary bracing installation to prevent distortion, relocating/organizing materials, and operating various equipment and hand tools such as punches, grinders, drills, and oxy-fuel torches. Steel-toe boots are also required for this position.
