What are the responsibilities and job description for the DBA position at Advantage Tech?
ATI is seeki g a DBA to join their client. We are looking for the following :
- SQL and Oracle database administration, configuration, load balancing, backup / recovery, sizing and space management, RAC, PL / SQL tuning, and diagnostics.
- Installing, upgrading, and supporting SQL and Oracle databases and the associated application software technology stacks in a multi-tier environment. This includes database server, applications server, web server, WebLogic server, concurrent processing, reports, and forms.
- 5-10 years experience as an SQL / Oracle DBA with associated enterprise application skills.
- Experience architecting, deploying, and supporting technologies leveraging cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
- Experience with scripting, automation, and orchestration technologies to create efficiencies. PowerShell, Python, Puppet / Chef, Ansible, Vagrant, Salt, etc.
- Other technology : Cisco, VPN, Palo Alto, ASA, VMware, Linux / Windows
