Job Title: Field Service Technician
At Advantage Tech, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installation, and repair of 12-volt electronic systems that focus on fleet and warehouse applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair 12-volt electronic systems, including GPS, refrigeration monitors, and self-guiding systems.
- Install and maintain tire inflation systems, speed governors, and secondary power connections.
- Work with diagnostic computers to troubleshoot and repair systems.
- Travel regularly, including overnight or multi-night travel within an assigned or designated area.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience in 12-volt electronic, automotive, mechanical, and/or technical work, or related schooling.
- Prior work experience in troubleshooting mechanics and electrical systems.
- Ability to work varied hours, including weekends and overtime to meet customer product availability timelines.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Professional appearance, dependability, and reliability.
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
- Ability to retain knowledge of standard operating procedures and follow verbal and written instructions.
