We are searching for an Aerospace Quality Technician in Beverly, MA to be a part of our exciting future and growing success.
Pay rate: $35 - $45/hr.
Aerospace Quality Technician responsibilities:
- Perform product inspections to assess conformance with engineering drawings and models.
- Assist Quality Engineers in preparing inspection plans and identifying non-conforming product conditions.
- Create and execute CMM or vision system programs for inspections as required.
- Generate discrepancy reports and initiate actions for non-conforming materials.
- Resolve issues and provide support to operators, inspectors, and engineers.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers to validate and verify inspection programs.
- Conduct first article inspections per AS9102 and customer requirements and identify efficiency improvements with the aerospace team.
- Hands-on experience with high precision dimensional inspection and first article inspections.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards, and ability to read complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Proficiency with CMM inspection, programming, and manual inspection equipment.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and data entry skills.
- Effective team collaboration and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
