Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Compliance & Regulatory Engineer located in Henrico, VA.
- Reporting to the Director of Engineering the Compliance & Regulatory Engineer
- Provide Compliance and Regulatory support to the Design and development of components, products, equipment and systems
What a typical day looks like:
- Within their field of expertise, (e.g. EMC, Safety, Thermal) provide discipline specific inputs to system architecture
- Ensure system compliance with budgets, standards and regulations
- Provide reviews to the product design engineer to ensure Design for Compliance
- Oversee product verification and characterization
- Provide inputs to regulatory certification, standards compliance, product performance verification and reliability testing
- Support the Quality Manager in preparation for and execution of audits
The experience we're looking to add to our team
- Typically requires a BS degree in related field with some related experience or equivalent experience
- Typically requires 6 years of related experience
- Previous experience with the following UL standards: 891,
