Contracts Specialist
Position Type : Contract
Position Location : Houston, TX
Position Salary : $48 / HR – $52 / HR
Requirements :
- 1-3 years of experience and attention to detail.
- Industry knowledge helpful, and experience on a trade floor or in a trade floor support role a plus.
- Data / process-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy of deal capture and contracting information.
- Procurement, business, and / or engineering work experience
- Experience with purchase order creation, sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.
- Procurement experience in the energy industry
- Experience leading multiple Procurement initiatives concurrently across sourcing, contracting, materials management, and / or Procure-To-Pay (P2P)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SAP, Ariba, and other procurement technologies
- Ability to interface across functions and with key stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions.
