We are seeking a Marketing Data Scientist for a 6-month remote contract with a leading organization in the job marketplace industry. This role involves analyzing large-scale datasets to develop data products, metrics, models, and visualizations that provide insights into labor market trends. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including economists, engineers, and product managers, to transform data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy data products from prototype to production.
- Build software libraries for reproducible data analyses.
- Perform data quality assurance and metric validation.
- Collaborate with internal teams on data-driven solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and process improvements.
- Clearly document and communicate findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, etc.).
- 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Economist, or Statistician.
- Strong programming skills in R and SQL.
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven success in deploying analytics solutions at scale.
- Ability to balance technical and product thinking in decision-making.
Contract Details:
- Remote (U.S.-based candidates preferred).
- 6-month contract with potential for extension.
- $55-$60 per hour (W2).
