Drainage Engineer / Project Engineer - PE
Position Type: Direct hire
Position Location: Can sit in Austin, TX, Round Rock, TX or Dallas, TX
Position Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 (Depending on Experience) Bonus
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a Civil Engineer with Drainage experience to join and support highway and bridge projects.
- Coordinate the preparation of drainage drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Overseeing the development of project-specific drainage/hydraulic reports and technical documentation.
- Perform cross-drainage hydraulic analysis and design.
- Conduct drainage analysis and design according to project requirements and standards set by public transportation agencies, including TxDOT.
- Utilize software such as MicroStation, Inroads, and Revit for project tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar degree focus; Higher Education is a plus
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas is needed; May consider someone with an EIT but able to obtain a PE within 1 year of higher date.
- 5 years of experience in transportation-related projects, with a focus on drainage design, hydrological, and hydraulic analysis.
- Experience in MicroStation, Inroads, and Revit is highly preferred.
- Must have Texas Drainage experience
