Electrical Technician essential tasks:
- Design, develop, debug, modify, and test electrical circuits, systems, and prototypes using current tools and techniques.
- Assemble and build electrical components and test equipment based on schematics, diagrams, and instructions.
- Document and evaluate electrical systems and components through reports, memos, and change requests following approved procedures and standards.
- Conduct testing and verification of electrical circuits and prototypes based on written and verbal specifications.
- Track and troubleshoot development efforts, resolving circuit or device issues using approved tracking tools and problem-solving techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of testing, evaluations, and problem-solving in lab notebooks and formal reports.
- Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions or alternative solutions to improve electrical system performance.
