Position Title: Engineer

Location: Cambridge, MA (Onsite) - Must be able to commute to Norton, MA as needed


Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends)


Job Type: Contract/Contract-to-Hire

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Engineer to support general laboratory operations and assist with commercial manufacturing investigations. This role will work across two groups-one focused on process development and troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and another specializing in device testing. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional lab experience, though candidates with strong academic lab experience (minimum two years) will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general laboratory work, including sample preparation, testing, and data collection.
  
  


• Assist in executing lab-based investigations related to commercial manufacturing challenges.
  
  


• Work collaboratively with teams focused on both process development and device testing.
  
  


• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with lab safety protocols.
  
  


• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts within the lab environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology). Engineering degrees with lab experience are preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of professional lab experience OR
    
    
  
  
  • entry level candidates with at least 2 years of academic lab experience (e.g., research projects, internships).
    
    
  
  
  
  


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow lab protocols.
  
  


• Experience with wet lab techniques, data analysis, and documentation.
  
  


• Prior exposure to process development or investigations related to manufacturing is a plus.

• This position is 100% onsite in Cambridge, MA.
