At Advantage Technical, we are seeking an experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead our site's engineering, maintenance, and I&E teams. This is a critical role that requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead site improvement and preventive maintenance projects, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Manage technical initiatives, including budgeting, project execution, process design, equipment specification, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with production and EHS teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
- Provide technical expertise for equipment failures, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance and engineering records, regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical, instrument, electrical, or project engineering, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
- 5 years of supervisory/management experience in a plant environment, managing multiple teams and projects.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally, as needed.
