Environmental Safety Engineering
Location - Deer Park, TX
Type of position : Direct hire
Responsibilities :
- Manage safety compliance in various projects
- Support Health and Safety within the plant.
- Provide continuous improvement to existing environmental systems and procedures while providing leadership to improve all aspects of EHS
- Have basic knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Oversee the development, implementation, and upkeep of environmental reduction processes and procedures to ensure sites continue to stay within compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct onsite inspection to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards in the plants
- Lead ongoing improvements to current environmental systems and procedures, while driving initiatives to improve all of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
- Annual Environmental filing
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of environmental / Safety experience within the industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO14001 management systems.
- TCEQ, and the EPA knowledge
- Waste Management experience
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience
