Position Title : Human Resources Administrative Support

Location : Onsite. Livonia, MI.

Administer / monitor attendance, Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and medical leave of absence in accordance with the UAW-OEM Collective Bargaining Agreement, Company Policy, applicable regulations, Company practice and Local Contractual Agreement.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Strong oral and written skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Previous Manufacturing experience (1 years) (Preferred)
  • Attendance and FMLA monitoring experience (Preferred)
  • 2 years of Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities to include :

  • Conduct corrective action discussions as required for chargeable absences, failure to follow notification process and tardiness.
  • Properly document corrective action hearing outcomes.
  • Follow-up with supervision to successfully close out open attendance and tardiness issues.
  • Audit attendance and tardiness records.
  • Correct attendance codes as required.
  • Serve as the attendance subject matter expert.
  • Maintain required documentation for FMLA administration.
  • Act as liaison between supervision and the local medical department.
  • Act as the single point of contact for employees requesting FMLA.
  • Act as the single point of contact to our third-party medical administrator.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
